The fundamental human condition is based around the concept of trust. Society only functions if we stick by the words we speak and act in a way that defines a wholeness. We want to work with people, organisations and stakeholders who we trust – things just happen a lot faster when that trust is there.

‍In essence: say what you mean and honour your words – have that wholeness of character.

Health and wellbeing is the tapestry which weaves all areas of our lives together. When you are a part of Aceleron, you can only improve, and contribute to the company in a meaningful way if you, yourself, are healthy and mentally well.  The foundation of the house must be strong.

As a start up, we have to be as innovative as possible in order to stay as competitive as possible. The best way to be innovative is to remain curious about the world around us, to have that interest in understanding why things are the way they are. If we are to achieve anything, to make any difference in the world, then we must remain curious, always asking why things are the way they are – ever striving for that fundamental answer.  

Just as our battery packs are made up of individual cells and offer more when packed together in our hardware than any
other group of cells, so do we, as a team, wanting to work together in order to achieve more than any other group of
people. Everything we do should be with the thought of how am I adding and creating value to the work I am undertaking? Collaboration is key to Aceleron having the impact in the world we are looking for, therefore we need to always be looking for those opportunities to make 10+10=30.

We are often brought up with the sense that failure is an inherently bad outcome and we are instilled with an inherent fear of failure. In reality, we want to encourage experimentation, removing the fear associated with failure. As long as we learn from those unsuccessful experiments and strive for improvement, there is nothing wrong with failure. After all, it’s impossible to learn how to ride a bike without falling off once or twice. At Aceleron, we will never penalise failure so long as there is valid learning behind the work being undertaken.
